Barbara J. Felts
For as long as I can remember I have been compelled to create art. I shared this desire with my Mother and I have many fond memories of creating arts and crafts with her over the years. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her encouragement to take my first polymer clay figure sculpting class with June Goodnow at a doll show in 1995. I quickly became obsessed with polymer clay figure sculpting as soon as I had the clay in my hand. Since that doll show I have taken many sculpting classes and attended many shows with my mother right by my side. I have learned so much over the years and I strive to learn more each day. I sculpt figures with polymer clay and now earthenware clay as well as functional pottery.
I have won many awards over the years with my polymer clay art dolls.
I am a member of several Art Doll organizations:
ODACA – Original Doll Artist Council of America
PDMAG – Professional Doll Makers Art Guild
IADR – International Art Doll Registry
